HOW IT WORKS

What usually happens from your first question to follow-up at home?

You should always be able to see who is expected to reply, what to prepare next and when it is a good time to confirm an appointment or trip.

  1. 01BEFORE TRAVEL

    Tell us what you need

Tell us the condition or health goal, your country, preferred language and possible travel timing. A complete medical record is not needed at this stage.

  2. 02BEFORE TRAVEL

    Choose the right route

We explain whether it may be useful to ask a hospital, discuss a health check, or explore TCM, rehabilitation or specialist care.

  3. 03BEFORE TRAVEL

    Prepare records

With your permission, we list the records a hospital needs and explain how to provide them and whether translation is required.

  4. 04BEFORE TRAVEL

    Hospital response

The hospital decides whether it can review or accept the case and may request more information.

  5. 05BEFORE TRAVEL

    Costs and next steps

We explain the response, possible next steps, likely timing and which costs come from the hospital, Kangqiao or another provider.

  6. 06BEFORE TRAVEL

    Plan the trip

After the appointment and written arrangements are clear, you can plan the visa, flight, accommodation, local transport and companion needs.

  7. 07IN CHINA & AFTER

    Arrive in China

Once arrival details are confirmed, the responsible providers can arrange reception, accommodation handover or hospital directions as agreed.

  8. 08IN CHINA & AFTER

    Visit the hospital

Interpretation and practical support can be coordinated as agreed. The hospital remains responsible for diagnosis, tests and treatment.

  9. 09IN CHINA & AFTER

    Departure records

Before leaving, check reports, images, bills, translation needs, medication information and the follow-up date.

  10. 10IN CHINA & AFTER

    Return journey confirmation

Follow the hospital's advice for review at home and confirm which records your local doctor needs. Contact your coordinator if further help is required.

IF PLANS CHANGE

Tell your coordinator promptly if a flight, appointment or health situation changes.

Affected appointments, transport or accommodation can then be checked again and the revised time and responsible provider made clear. For a medical emergency, contact local emergency services or a medical provider first.
