Frequently asked questions

Practical answers before you send records, pay or book a trip.

Can I ask a hospital in China to review my case?

Yes. Start with a short description and the types of records you have. If the request appears suitable, we explain what the hospital needs before asking it to review the case.

Do I need to upload my full medical record now?

No. Please do not paste a full report, passport number or ID number into the first form. If records are needed later, we explain the appropriate process and consent.

When should I book flights and accommodation?

Wait until the hospital has replied and the appointment, likely length of stay and relevant payment and cancellation terms are clear. Visa approval is decided by the responsible government authority.

Will I receive one total price?

Not always. The hospital, Kangqiao and travel providers may each charge separately. Check the provider, currency, included items, quotation validity and cancellation terms for every cost.

Can Kangqiao tell me which treatment is best?

No. Kangqiao can organise information and contact hospitals, but licensed hospitals and clinicians decide diagnosis, suitability, treatment, risks and medical prices.

If a hospital is listed on the website, does that mean it will accept me?

No. A listing only describes the current information status. Every case and appointment still needs individual confirmation by the hospital.
