When an international itinerary changes, the main danger is not the delay itself but different providers continuing to use the old time. As soon as a flight, appointment or health condition changes, record what happened, what may be affected and notify the Kangqiao case manager or the primary contact shown in the written plan.

For sudden illness, deterioration or a medical emergency, contact local emergency services, airline medical support or a clinician first. Do not wait for a coordinator. Only qualified medical professionals can advise whether to fly, change medication or alter treatment.

For a non-emergency change, pause each old task: cancel or hold the original pickup, check the hotel, ask whether the hospital can move the appointment and review the relevant cancellation terms. A group-chat message saying you will arrive later is not enough; obtain confirmation from every affected provider.

The revised plan should have a version and time and show the new flight, passenger numbers, destination, appointment, transport, accommodation and next responsible person. Share only necessary information with each provider. Mark the previous version as cancelled so reception staff do not continue to act on it.

After the change, check additional charges, refunds, appointment validity and the next confirmation time. Kangqiao can coordinate information, but the airline, hospital, hotel and transport provider each decide their own service. Flexible bookings and a time buffer are the most effective ways to limit disruption.
